I hardly know where to start! I’ve not had a simple career path.
When I graduated from Samford University in 1997 with a degree
in psychology, I began work with the Department of Human
Services as a foster care social worker, moving after a couple
years into a supervisory position. Demanding and challenging
and heartbreaking for almost eight years. I left to get a master’s
degree in counseling and worked for several years in an
outpatient substance abuse program.
When I married and started a family life got more complicated.
My husband had an opportunity to open a bicycle store, a major
life change. I was involved in just about every aspect of the family
business. We ended up with two stores, a location in Hampton
Cove and another in Madison. Now, with two teens and more
flexibility, I remembered that I had the education and the desire to
work in mental health, found a licensed professional to work as
my supervisor, and rented some office space for my own private
practice.
And almost at the same time, it became obvious that my mother
could use some help with her real estate business. So in my
spare time I found the required online courses and took the test.
I’m having a blast!
My mom, Pam Krichev, has been a top producer in her company
for 23 years. She has connections all over north Alabama and
tons of insights to share, including on ethical issues. It’s like
having a private high level tutor.
Working with people is what I love and what I do best. I ask good
questions and listen closely to your answers. We can get your
house sold and we can surely help you find one, which is an
adventure.
I look forward to meeting you!
